I teach classical violin and viola, Scottish fiddling and improvisation. I have a Bachelor's degree in performance from the Peabody Conservatory, a Master's degree in improvisation from the University of Michigan and learned fiddling over ten years of summer courses on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. For 20 years, I made my living performing professionally in Vienna, Austria. Students at all levels are welcome, and I am happy to teach any combination of classical and non-classical playing, or just classical or just non-classical.
